Your tour starts with a scenic drive along the west coast. Stop to enjoy sweeping views and admire the picturesque shoreline. Continue through snaking, hilly roads and absorb even better views of the Indian Ocean as you make your way up to Chamarel—home to the magnificent Chamarel Falls and 7-Colored Earths. Along the way, make a stop at Case Noyale, home to a traditional coffee house where you can try freshly roasted Mauritian coffee.

Upon arrival at the 272-foot (83-m) tall waterfall, marvel at the dramatic waters and surrounding lush vegetation of the Black River Gorges—an amazing photo opportunity. See the unusual volcanic rocks that have cooled at various temperatures to form patterns of color on the exposed hillsides.
